Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Advertise vacancy and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • 5 years or more of experience in this field
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (more than 45 kg/100 lbs)
Working Conditions:

The Janitor will work in a fast-paced urban environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Janitor will work 30-44 hours per week.
