Job Title: Registered Nurse - Rural General

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fort Nelson General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering compassionate care and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Advanced preparation in a clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within three years.
