In the capacity of Talent Acquisition Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Talent Management, taking charge of the recruitment and retention strategies for the Toronto office. Your responsibilities will encompass leading a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, managing the recruitment lifecycle, conducting data analysis, and refining the onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the recruitment operations for the Toronto office
  • Offer guidance and mentorship on recruitment best practices
  • Formulate and execute recruitment strategies that align with organizational growth goals
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to assess staffing requirements
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to ensure a favorable candidate experience
  • Oversee recruitment campaigns and talent searches
  • Manage the onboarding process along with internal transfers and promotions
  • Administer the Applicant Tracking System effectively
  • Assist with employee relations issues and updates to HR policies

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including 3-5 years in a leadership role within recruitment
  • Experience in a large law firm or professional services setting is advantageous
  • Comprehensive understanding of talent acquisition and HR principles
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship-building capabilities
  • Proficient in digital tools with experience in ATS management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Familiarity with applicable employment legislation
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
