Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at White Birch Lodge. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
