About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of food service staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
