Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn Waterloo.
Job Summary:The Food and Beverage Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, and supplies.
- Operations Management: Evaluate and plan daily operations, including staff scheduling and supervision.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of food, ingredients, and supplies.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our food and beverage services.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food and beverage management.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in managing daily operations.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Organized: Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
