Flooring Specialist
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Various job sites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, measure, and mark areas designated for flooring.
  • Cut and secure underlay and padding materials.
  • Install a variety of floor coverings including carpets, hardwood, and vinyl.
  • Calculate material requirements and associated costs.
  • Prepare surfaces by removing old flooring and any debris.
  • Execute direct glue-down carpet installations.
  • Utilize knee kickers and other tools for carpet fitting.
  • Install outdoor flooring solutions.
Travel Requirements
  • Must be open to travel as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Role involves physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and various body positions such as bending and kneeling.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong client focus.
  • Highly organized.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
