Flooring Installer Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team at Mehraz Building Dreams Inc. This role is essential in delivering high-quality flooring solutions to our clients.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in flooring installation is advantageous.
Work Environment:
  • Work will be conducted at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prepare surfaces for flooring installation.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and install underlay and padding.
  • Install a variety of floor coverings, including carpets, vinyl, and hardwood.
  • Repair and maintain existing floor coverings as needed.
  • Provide estimates for project costs and materials required.
  • Prepare installation sites by removing old flooring and debris.
  • Utilize appropriate tools for carpet stretching and installation.
  • Conduct direct glue-down and outdoor carpet installations.
Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel is necessary for this position.
Physical Demands:
  • This role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and performing various physical activities.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
Personal Attributes:
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Employment Information:
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Expected working hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
