Spirit Ridge is a dynamic and unique resort located in the heart of wine country, offering a wide range of amenities and services to its guests. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all common areas and rooms meet the resort's high standards. This will include:

  • Managing inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Preparing purchase requisitions as needed
  • Supervising staff and planning and coordinating activities
  • Coordinating in-house laundry services
  • Assisting management in establishing and implementing operational procedures
  • Coordinating inspections of assigned areas
  • Ensuring safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Assisting in conducting performance evaluations and appraisals
  • Scheduling and assigning duties of housekeeping staff
  • Ensuring local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
  • Responding to guest complaints in a luxury hotel environment
  • Liaising with maintenance team members to ensure upkeep of the property
  • Assisting Front Office in overseeing emergency situations
  • Training, supervising, motivating, and coaching staff

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience and training in a luxury hotel or condo environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude
  • Ability to handle a large workload and work in a fast-paced environment
