Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Spirit Ridge at NK'MIP Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all necessary items are available.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the resort are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are met at all times.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
