Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective for this sales professional is to develop and secure 'smart install' projects directly with end users or through our contractor partners. Most engagements will occur during construction events, including new builds or expansions/renovations of existing sites.
Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting activities aimed at potential customers and networking to secure initial meetings with contractors, engineers, and decision-makers among existing building owners.
Develop risk-mitigation strategies to assist clients in budgeting for lifecycle projects, thereby reducing costly emergency service calls.
Generate and present impactful proposals through professional executive-level presentations that lead to signed agreements.
Engage in sales and industry training, translating that knowledge into tangible sales results.
Collaborate with other members of the operations and sales team at the branch location to ensure customer needs are met.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Approximately 3+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
- Experience in facilities services or business solution sales directly to end-users is advantageous.
- Technical expertise or aptitude in life safety and security, including fire alarm, sprinkler systems, extinguishers, suppression systems, video, and access control is essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with groups at all levels, including executives.
- Proven ability to lead customer engagements and manage the entire sales cycle.
- Demonstrated capability to build and maintain relationships with existing clients to sustain current sales and facilitate additional business opportunities.
- Proficient in writing compelling, detailed sales proposals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms is required.
- Ability to work remotely while attending necessary meetings at various branch offices.
