Palliative Care Nurse

At Providence Health Care, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) to join our Hospice/Palliative Care team.
About the RoleWe are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing palliative care to patients in various settings.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication management and wound care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and outcomes
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Certification in Hospice/Palliative Care and one year of recent experience in palliative nursing care
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
