Job Title: Part-time Caretaker II

Rocky View Schools is seeking a part-time Caretaker II to provide routine cleaning duties at Cochrane Christian Academy & Glenbow Elementary School.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working at multiple sites as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Keep school buildings, grounds, contents, and furnishings in good appearance and in clean, tidy, sanitary condition
  • Assist the Head Building Operator with various tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform building security checks as scheduled
  • Keep assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
