Are you eager to play a vital role in overseeing the daily administrative functions within a dynamic and fast-paced division? The Corporate Finance Division is seeking an individual to fill the role of Executive Director's Administrative Assistant for Financial Reporting & Operations.
The successful candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment, adeptly managing multiple priorities while demonstrating flexibility to meet the demands of the role. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive support to executives, coordinating meetings, managing approval processes for various requests, and executing other senior administrative tasks for the division.
This position entails central coordination of all administrative matters within the branch, necessitating a strong understanding of the ministry to facilitate effective information flow. Success in this role will heavily rely on your ability to cultivate collaborative environments and engage stakeholders in a professional manner.
Additionally, having a keen awareness of current issues affecting the ministry and understanding their implications on operations is crucial. Your agility will enable you to excel in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities.
QualificationsRequired:
• High school diploma and three years of relevant experience, including:
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom);
• Expertise in calendar management and meeting coordination;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Familiarity with legislation and departmental/government financial and administrative policies;
• Experience in expenditure management and ensuring financial accountability.
Equivalency:
Directly related experience or education may be considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
Assets:
• A diploma or experience in a finance-related field.
• Relevant experience in office or branch administration.
• Experience in supporting executive management.
