Psychiatrist - Assessment and Stabilization Unit

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Homewood Health, a leading provider of medically focused, evidence-based treatment of mental health and addiction disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical psychiatric care to patients in our Assessment and Stabilization Unit and Comprehensive Psychiatric Care units.
- Diagnose and manage complex psychiatric disorders and comorbid mental health and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care and stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent body.
- Experience with diagnosis and management of complex psychiatric disorders and comorbid mental health and substance use disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to provide ECT treatment to patients at the Homewood Health Centre.
