About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Marble and Granite Installer to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of marble and granite surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with marble or granite.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, ensuring a secure and even fit.
  • Tile Cutting and Fitting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Tile Removal and Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Tile Strip Installation: Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Work Environment

As a Marble and Granite Installer, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and industrial setting, with occasional residential projects. You will be required to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and be physically demanding.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile and marble installation.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance required.
