We are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As a Marble Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces for tiling, creating rough plans and sketches, installing and aligning tiles, cutting and fitting tiles as needed, and replacing damaged tiles and installing tile strips.

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, repairing, and applying adhesives as needed.
• Tile Installation: Install and align tiles to ensure a level and even surface.
• Tile Cutting and Fitting: Cut and fit tiles to fit around obstructions and edges.
• Tile Repair: Replace damaged tiles and install tile strips to maintain a seamless finish.

• Lead a Team: Lead a team of 3-4 individuals to ensure efficient and effective tile installation.

• Work Conditions: Work in commercial, industrial, and residential locations, potentially encountering odours and dust.

• Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring heavy loads and bending.
• Attention to Detail: Require attention to detail and hand-eye coordination to ensure accurate tile installation.
• Availability: Availability for overtime work as needed.
