About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tatem And Wolf. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any safety and cleanliness issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial records to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services, including painting, repair work, and renovations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and re-ordering.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: WHMIS Certificate, First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: Bilingual (English and French).
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
