Job Title: Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. as part of our bakery operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, analyzing operating costs and other data, creating new recipes, and instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize bakery operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our product offerings.
  • Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure high-quality food products meet our standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
