Job Summary

RPS Hawk Inc. is seeking a skilled Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm staff, including animal care and maintenance tasks
  • Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of livestock, including detecting disease and health problems
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage and maintain farm equipment and vehicles, including scheduling maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • Supervise train crew members and ensure they are following proper procedures
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Farm Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work overtime as needed. The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects is essential.
