Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At ALBERTA LTD. O/A SAND CASTLE STEAKHOUSE, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and train a team of staff members to ensure they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
