Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments.
  • Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and maximize independent function in all activities of life.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Evaluate treatment progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports.
  • Conduct research in occupational therapy to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field.
Work Environment:

As an Occupational Therapist at Reflex Physiotherapy, you will work in a variety of settings, including our clients' homes, rehabilitation centres, and special health institutions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in occupational therapy or equivalent experience.
  • Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists Membership.
  • Basic security clearance and bondability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
