Experienced Project Leader in Transportation

We prioritize service excellence and tailor our solutions to meet the distinct goals and requirements of each client.
We are currently in search of skilled Project Leaders to enhance our expanding team. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and writing abilities, thrive in collaborative environments, and have a keen interest in the transportation sector. As a Project Leader, you will be instrumental in guiding the delivery of infrastructure projects through all stages of development. We seek motivated individuals eager to refine their skills and contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Adhere to and implement client project management standards while identifying opportunities for ongoing enhancements.
· Establish, monitor, and manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.
· Facilitate productive project workshops covering risk management, scope definition, cost estimation, and more.
· Develop, track, and maintain project financial reports, schedules, and document management systems throughout all project phases.
· Act as a liaison with key stakeholders on behalf of the client, utilizing established engagement processes.
· Coordinate project team activities and effectively interact with clients, contractors, engineers, and other consultants.
· Participate in technical proposal writing and contribute to business development initiatives.
· Prepare and distribute high-quality, accurate, and timely documentation, including agendas, status reports, meeting minutes, and change management records.
· Review invoices, change orders, and manage payments to contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
· Conduct contract administration and coordination as necessary.
· Mentor and train junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with government entities and managing infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
Qualifications and Education:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a desire to pursue it is advantageous.
· 5-10 years of project management experience in planning, design, and construction projects.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong presentation abilities to effectively convey project plans, milestones, and technical issues to clients and stakeholders.
· Comprehensive understanding of all phases of infrastructure projects, including both conventional and alternative delivery methods for public and private clients.
· Awareness and interest in local Indigenous rights, treaties, Section 35 regulatory processes, and the duty to consult.
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
· Capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
