Project Manager, Engineering

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is a leading manufacturer of rail transportation equipment, and we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing the development of our rail products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for rail product development projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Manage project documentation, including technical reports, design specifications, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on rail transportation or a related industry.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Strong understanding of rail transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
