Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to support our Finance Operations team during the IFRS17 parallel year. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing financial transactions using IFRS-4 or IFRS-17, running reports, and reconciling differences between IFRS-4 and IFRS-17.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Operations team in implementing IFRS17
  • Complete financial transactions using IFRS-4 or IFRS-17, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Run reports to identify and reconcile differences between IFRS-4 and IFRS-17
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Document processes and controls for new accounting standards and systems
  • Support financial reporting projects and ad hoc requests from senior management

Requirements:

  • CPA or other accounting designation/MBA or Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with IFRS accounting and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards, including IFRS 15/16/17/4
  • 5-7 years of experience in core accounting and reporting roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Project management abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with proficiency in financial software
