At RhynoCare, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Ensure Timely and Safe Resident Transfers: Coordinate and facilitate the transfer of residents to and from our facility, ensuring a smooth and safe transition.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Safely store, control, and dispense medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with our healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document Resident Information: Accurately and thoroughly document resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations. Proficient in basic computer skills and able to navigate electronic medical records.
