We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Ontario Public Service.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments, and take medical histories
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- Provide health education and promote healthy behaviors
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work
- Criminal record check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform duties
The successful candidate will work in a correctional facility, providing healthcare services to inmates. The work environment is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
