Supply Chain Manager
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee our operations. This position is crucial for optimizing product sourcing, managing vendor partnerships, and driving the success of our franchise network.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Sourcing and Oversight: Effectively identify and source products, propose pricing strategies within established frameworks, create product demand forecasts, and manage product distribution through contracted logistics partners.
  • Cost Efficiency: Assist franchisees by identifying, evaluating, and implementing competitive supply options for current products and initiatives.
  • Marketing Assistance: Actively support the development of new products, manage heightened product demands during promotional events, and leverage promotional resources from suppliers.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, remain informed about the latest product and sourcing trends, and expand a network of industry connections.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective working relationships across various organizational levels, provide procurement support to different departments, and engage in cross-functional teams.
  • Franchisee Engagement: Build and sustain robust relationships with franchisees and represent the Purchasing Group in relevant discussions.
  • Ethical Procurement: Adhere to purchasing policies that promote fair and ethical interactions with vendors.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or certification from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada or a comparable qualification, OR five to ten years of procurement experience in a multi-unit franchise, quick service restaurant, or retail setting.
  • Food Service Background: Must possess experience in multi-unit account management, distribution, procurement, or other relevant sectors of the food industry.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Leadership and Creativity: Proven ability to demonstrate innovation, resourcefulness, and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in computer applications, particularly in utilizing spreadsheets for business analysis.
