Role Summary:
THP is in search of a Project Manager to join the Laboratory Medicine and Genetics Program. This program is multifaceted and operates across various sites, offering a wide range of laboratory services.
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in collaborating with laboratory teams and other clinical units to drive strategic initiatives, including the implementation of new equipment and systems. This position will also involve supporting site redevelopment and transforming care models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive project management for multiple initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Engage with project sponsors and stakeholders to foster strong relationships for effective project execution.
- Focus on change management to facilitate smooth transitions and enhance employee engagement.
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and report solutions to stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
- Communicate regularly with leadership regarding project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in business, life sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced degree in public health or healthcare administration is an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within healthcare settings.
- Experience with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
