Position Overview

The Executive Housekeeper at Super 8 Castlegar plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our establishment. This position involves overseeing the housekeeping department to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement: Identify and acquire necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and their teams.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of designated areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and guide housekeeping personnel.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and departmental policies.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Scheduling: Organize and assign tasks to housekeeping staff effectively.
  • Health Regulations: Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications

Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in a motel setting, with working hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
