We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control/Field Service Inspector to join our team at 311 FLSmidth Ltd. in Orillia, Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, as well as providing technical support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality control inspections of materials and equipment in-house, at suppliers, and at customer sites.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Provide technical assistance and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our equipment.
- Collaborate with our engineering department to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as welding, materials science, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the heavy industry sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
