Job Title: Senior Advancement Officer

Join the University of Waterloo's Advancement team as a Senior Advancement Officer and play a key role in building and developing the advancement pipeline. This exciting opportunity will see you develop and implement strategies for alumni outreach, alumni volunteer engagement, and student-alumni-bridge initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for alumni outreach, alumni volunteer engagement, and student-alumni-bridge initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with alumni, donors, and stakeholders to advance the University's goals.
  • Collaborate with the Advancement team to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective stewardship plans to recognize and thank donors for their support.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members and volunteers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, alumni relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with alumni, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
