Accounting Coordinator, Development
The role of the Accounting Coordinator, Development Accounting at QuadReal Property Group is to oversee the full cycle of the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, approval coordination, contract management, vendor payments, and inquiries for the portfolio of commercial and residential properties under development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process routine invoices, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure accurate coding and payment of invoices.
- Review vendor statements and follow up with the development team for missing invoices.
- Assist in administration duties within the Development Accounting team, as required.
Requirements:
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience in an accounting role in real estate development and/or construction contractor environment considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or real estate considered an asset
- Yardi accounting system or comparable experience considered an asset
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Team player who is able to develop and maintain strong working relationships
