Job Title: Director of Water Management Design

At HDR, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Water Management Design to lead our Water Business Group in Canada.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in water management design to join our team as a Director. As a Director of Water Management Design, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business group initiatives, working closely with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams.

You will be the point of interface with operations, ensuring that our business group strategies and initiatives are aligned with company goals and objectives. Your expertise in water industry associations and organizations will be valuable in driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business group initiatives for Canada
  • Work cooperatively with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams
  • Actively participate in water industry associations and organizations
  • Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in related field
  • Ability to work cooperatively with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams
  • Position requires that applicant resides within the Greater Toronto Area or willing to relocate
  • 15+ years experience in related field
  • Proven relationships within major water organizations within Canada
  • Committed to quality improvement and HDR values
  • Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk management
