Sales Associate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Roots. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in promoting our core values and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including maintaining store standards, replenishing stock, and creating visually appealing displays.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in apparel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
