Job Title: Salesperson, Furniture and Appliances

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team at Baine Johnston. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling furniture and appliances to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash register and process sales transactions
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on furniture and appliance selection
  • Assist in displaying merchandise and maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Greet customers and discuss their needs and preferences
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability, efficiency, and a positive attitude
