Job Description: Custodial Janitor – ServiceMaster Restore of Victoria


Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Custodial Janitor to uphold the cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, reliable, and focused on providing outstanding cleaning services. Your efforts will help foster a clean and safe atmosphere for clients and their visitors.

Key Responsibilities:


· Routine Cleaning Duties: Conduct regular cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Sanitize restrooms, ensuring all fixtures are clean and hygienic.

· Surface Maintenance: Disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, windowsills, and kitchen areas. Maintain the shine of stainless steel and glass surfaces as required.

· Waste Management: Gather and dispose of waste and recyclables in appropriate containers. Ensure that bins are emptied, cleaned, and fitted with new liners.

· Floor Maintenance: Care for various flooring types, including tile, carpet, and hardwood. Execute tasks such as mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors according to established schedules and guidelines.

· Supply Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and restroom essentials. Replenish items as necessary and notify supervisors of low inventory levels.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Custodial Janitor or in a similar position is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents, tools, and methods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset towards cleanliness.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Valid driver's license.
