About the Role

Chip Cleaning Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Light Duty Cleaner. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing space.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Community Engagement: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Integration Support: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.
Support for Youths
  • Youth Development: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth to help them develop new skills.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth to help them achieve their goals.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to help them achieve their goals.

Work Details: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language required.
