Service Technician/Gas Fitter A Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician/Gas Fitter A to join our Hinton, AB team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge in the installation and service of complex residential and commercial propane and natural gas related equipment.
  • Safe operation of the crane truck and other service vehicles required to perform tank installations, relocations, and pickups.
  • Maintain, request, and stock service truck with inventory, ensuring all necessary parts, materials, and supplies are available to perform daily work orders and meet customer requests.
  • Apply lockout procedures in unsafe customer installations.
  • Accurately prepare and submit daily service work orders and DTRs utilizing OBTC technology.
  • Conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and relevant Service Technician III.
Requirements:
  • A Class A gas technician license.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Propane industry experience is a strong asset.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent knowledge of B149 code.
  • Valid Class 3 driver's license and incident-free driver's abstract.
