Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at GIS TRANSPORT LTD.

Job Summary

The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, preparing reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transportation activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports on transportation operations
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of electronic schedulers and MS Office
Work Environment

The Transportation Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work

The hours of work are 35 to 40 hours per week.
