Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yummy Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Train staff in food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and healthy kitchen environment
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food meets our high standards
  • Inventory and Budgeting
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
    • Prepare and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
