Job Summary:

As a Sales Development Representative at White Cap, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the sales process, generating new sales opportunities and upselling through strategic communication and relationship-building.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in determining their product needs and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Input sales orders into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information in a timely manner.
  • Continuously improve sales and product knowledge through active involvement in training and development programs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quota targets and drive business growth.
  • Perform estimating, take-off, and proposal duties as required.
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities through outbound communication and relationship-building.
  • Provide product pricing and ensure compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Facilitate the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; specialized skills training or certification may be necessary.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
