POSITION SUMMARY

As a vital member of the Maintenance team, this role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all facility areas, including lunchrooms, offices, restrooms, yards, and entry/exit points.
  • Manage the collection and disposal of used chemicals and waste materials.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all waste disposal units within the facility.
  • Conduct daily 5S practices in the compactor area.
  • Operate machinery while adhering to safety protocols (e.g., Forklift operation).
  • Utilize safety measures and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to safeguard oneself and promote safety awareness among colleagues.
  • Comply with all established safety regulations and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable operating a sweeper.
  • Previous experience with paging systems/radios is an asset.
  • Prior forklift operation experience is advantageous.
