Job Title: Food Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Intercity Packers Ltd. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that our food products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to quality and safety procedures.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on quality and safety procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve quality and safety issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure that our quality and safety procedures are current and effective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
