Job Title: Food Quality Assurance Specialist

At Intercity Packers Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Food Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that our products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide training and support to employees on quality and safety procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve quality and safety issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or food safety role, preferably in the meat or seafood industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and SQF principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
