Job Overview

The Dealer Relations/Local Fleet Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and growth. This dynamic individual will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, implementing effective customer service strategies, and collaborating with colleagues across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the growth of the customer base and serve as a liaison between departments, including sales representatives, consignment partners, and site personnel.
  • Implement and develop customer service strategies to drive business results.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks, including data processing and verification.
  • Ensure ancillary services, such as transport and shop services, are scheduled and completed.
  • Qualify reserve prices using market conditions and escalate customer service issues to senior team members.
  • Utilize the customer-facing system to educate and resolve issues for internal and external customers.
  • Assist with VLC lane placement, flagging vehicles, and booking Simulcast auction run numbers.
  • Collaborate with the VLC team to maximize vehicle exposure and meet site objectives.
  • Perform sale day duties, including customer service and post-sale reporting.
  • Monitor on-ground inventory and provide recommendations on marketing and sales strategies.
  • Perform all required tasks related to sale day run lists.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is an asset.
  • Previous re-marketing experience or automotive background is preferred.
  • Developed verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
  • Prior experience with sales and sales management tracking databases is essential.
  • Effective customer relations, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, retain, and articulate product-related information.
