Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Weld Tech to join our team at C.O.R.E. Services. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our robotic welding cells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Instruct and train employees on the safe operation of all welding equipment, including setup and changeover, safety guarding, and safe operating practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician to promptly resolve equipment performance issues.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements to management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Quality Control: Perform product destructive testing, correct processes as necessary, and report findings.
  • Maintenance and Inventory: Perform routine maintenance, including repairs, and maintain inventory of perishable supplies.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously review welding processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Background in manufacturing technology, college technical education considered an asset, and 3-5 years of related hands-on experience.
  • Skills and Certifications: Ability to maintain ABB robotic cells, MIG and resistance type welders, and preferred training in welder process control.
  • Communication and Quality: Strong comprehension skills, ability to read and follow instructions, and recognition of the importance of quality control.
