Senior Auditor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX testing) covering ITGC domains, developing audit planning processes, and presenting independent audit opinions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of SOX testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain audit planning processes, including risk assessments and control evaluations.
- Presentation of independent audit opinions to senior management and the audit committee.
- Collaborate with regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Prepare and present reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including financial and operational metrics.
- Support the audit engagement process, including audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Analyze and implement initiatives to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with over 3 years of IT auditing experience.
- CISA / CISSP certification considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of IT controls frameworks and related IT and business processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
