Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at COBS Bread. As a Baker, you will be responsible for baking fresh bread from scratch, working independently or as part of a small team, and contributing to a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake fresh bread from scratch, following carefully crafted recipes and production schedules.
  • Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, moulding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens.

  • You are an early riser who can work independently or as part of a small team.

  • You have a great attitude, good organizational skills, and a sense of urgency.

Physical Requirements
  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg.
  • Frequent turning and reaching.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, and some forward bending.
  • Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 meters.
  • Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping.
