Position Overview

As a Culinary Service Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Join our team at Aramark Canada East, where we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals through quality food and service.

We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about customer service to become part of our Food Services team.



Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, friendly service to all patrons
  • Inform guests about menu selections, daily specials, and dining hall activities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work environment
  • Utilize kitchen tools and equipment, including knives, pots, and appliances
  • Organize workspaces and manage food preparation schedules
  • Ensure proper storage and inventory management of food products
  • Follow recipes accurately, ensuring portion control and presentation standards
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and management
  • Prepare a variety of food items, including herbs, spices, and alternative proteins
  • Create condiments, preserves, and dressings
  • Restock and arrange food displays, including salad bars and coolers
  • May assist in washing and sanitizing dishes and utensils
  • Document temperatures, label products according to FIFO, and maintain cleaning logs
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding health, safety, and food handling
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
